Sprinkles Pancakes

Sausage Links and Fresh Strawberries

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ cup multicolor sprinkles
  • 1 (8-oz) bottle pancake syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat griddle or a large nonstick skillet over medium heat; spray with cooking spray.
  2. Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Add eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter, stirring to blend. Stir in sprinkles.
  4. Drop batter by ¼ cupfuls onto griddle, and cook 1 to 2 minutes or until tops are covered with bubbles. Turn and cook other side 1 minute or until golden brown.
  5. Divide pancakes among each plate; serve with syrup.

  • 1 (12-count) pkg fully-cooked pork sausage links
  • 1 (16-oz) container strawberries

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Heat sausage according to package directions.
  2. Cut strawberries in half to serve.
