Chicken Parmesan Stromboli
Easy Caesar SaladIngredients
- 1 (25.5-oz) pkg frozen popcorn chicken
- 1 (13.8-oz) can refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 (24-oz) jar marinara sauce, divided
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Place frozen chicken in a single layer on a lightly greased baking sheet; bake 15 minutes. Coarsely chop.
- Unroll dough on a clean flat surface. Top with ½ cup marinara sauce, chopped chicken, and cheeses, leaving a 1-inch border on all sides; roll up, jelly roll fashion, starting with one long side.
- Place, seam side down, on a lightly greased large baking sheet. Cut 1-inch slits in top of roll at 2-inch intervals. Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown; let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
