Ingredients

  • 6 (5- or 6-oz) center cut pork chops
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp butter, divided
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. Dredge pork in flour, shaking off excess.
  2. Melt 1 Tbsp butter and oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook pork 4 to 5 minutes per side or until browned and done. Remove pork from skillet; keep warm.
  3. Melt 1 Tbsp butter in same skillet over medium heat; Add garlic; cook 1 minute. Add cream; cook 1 to 2 minutes or until slightly thickened. Spoon sauce over pork.

  • 2 (12-oz) pkg green beans
  • ½ cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook green beans according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, toast nuts in a small dry skillet over medium-low heat 2 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned and fragrant.
  3. Whisk together oil, vinegar, salt, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Add green beans; toss. Sprinkle with nuts and, if desired, cheese.
