Roasted Asparagus with Crispy Garlic Breadcrumbs

Ingredients
- 2½ lb asparagus, trimmed
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Toss together asparagus and oil on a large rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake 10 minutes or until asparagus is lightly browned and tender.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add breadcrumbs and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, until breadcrumbs are toasted.
- Transfer asparagus to a platter; sprinkle with toasted breadcrumbs.
