Easy Taco Skillet

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- ½ Tbsp minced garlic
- 1½ Tbsp olive oil
- 1½ Tbsp taco seasoning mix
- ½ (14.5-oz) can diced tomatoes with green chiles
- 3 Tbsp water
- ¾ cup shredded Mexican-blend cheese
- 2¼ cups chopped romaine lettuce
- ¾ cup sliced avocado
Instructions
- Cook beef, onion, and garlic in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until browned and crumbly.
- Add taco seasoning, tomatoes, and water; reduce heat to medium-low. Cook 5 minutes or until slightly thickened and thoroughly heated. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and let stand 2 minutes or until melted.
- Serve taco meat over lettuce, and top with avocado.
