Barbecue Burgers
Roasted Corn on the Cob
Ingredients
- 2 sweet onions, sliced
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1½ lb ground beef
- 1 cup barbecue sauce, divided
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 6 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Cook onions, covered, in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 5 minutes or until almost tender. Uncover and cook 8 minutes or until onions are browned and tender, stirring often.
- Meanwhile, combine beef, 3 Tbsp barbecue sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl; shape into 6 patties. Cook patties, in batches, in a grill pan or large skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink.
- Serve patties on buns with onions and remaining barbecue sauce.

- 6 ears corn, husks removed
- 6 Tbsp butter, softened and divided
- ¾ tsp dried basil
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Place corn on a foil-lined baking sheet. Spread 3 Tbsp butter on corn.
- Roast 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned, turning corn occasionally. Spread 3 Tbsp butter on corn; sprinkle with basil, salt, and pepper.
