Ingredients

  • 1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 6 (6-oz) grouper fillets
  • ¼ cup olive oil, divided
  • 1 (12-oz) bottle tartar sauce

Instructions

  1. Pour breadcrumbs into a shallow bowl. Spoon mayonnaise in another shallow bowl.
  2. Season fish all over with salt and pepper, if desired. Dip fish in mayonnaise; dredge in breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere.
  3. Cook fish, in 2 batches, in 2 Tbsp hot oil per batch in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes per side or until fish flakes with a fork. Serve with tartar sauce.
