Garlic Butter Steak

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb flank steak (or use skirt steak)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ (3.5-oz) stick garlic-and-herb butter

Instructions

  1. Pat steak dry on both sides; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook steak in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
  2. Let stand 10 minutes; thinly slice steak across the grain. Melt butter in a small microwave-safe bowl in microwave. Spoon butter over steak.
