Bacon-Cheeseburger Pie

Ingredients

  • ½ (14.1-oz) pkg refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 10 slices bacon, chopped
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup chopped dill pickles
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Unroll pie crust and fit into bottom and up sides of a 9-inch pie plate, crimping edges, if desired. Prick bottom of crust all over with a fork; bake 7 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, cook beef and bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain, and return to skillet.
  3. Stir in breadcrumbs, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and seasoning; spoon mixture into partially baked pie shell.
  4. Whisk together egg and milk in a bowl; stir in cheese. Dollop cheese mixture over beef mixture; spread evenly to edges of crust.
  5. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg classic salad mix
  • 1 cup seasoned croutons
  • ¼ cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup Ranch dressing

Side Dish Instructions

  1.  Toss together all ingredients in a bowl just before serving.
