Grilled Sirloin with Lemony Mustard Aïoli

Ingredients

  • 2½ Tbsp olive-oil mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice 
  • 1 lb boneless top sirloin steak
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or a grill pan coated with cooking spray to medium-high heat.
  2. Stir together mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, garlic, and lemon juice. Sprinkle both sides of steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill steak, covered, 4 to 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Top with aïoli.

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg haricots vert (French green beans)
  • 1½ Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ tsp salt

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until pliable but not quite crisp. Drain on paper towels.
  2. Cook green beans in boiling water in a large saucepan over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain beans; place in ice water to stop cooking process. Drain well; pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss beans with oil, vinegar, and salt. Arrange beans in three bundles.
  4. Wrap 2 slices bacon around each bean bundle; place bundles, a few inches apart, on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until bacon begins to crisp and brown.
