Spiced Pork and Vegetables
Brown RiceIngredients
- 2 cups frozen broccoli stir-fry
- ½ lb boneless pork chops, cubed
- ¼ tsp salt, divided
- ¼ tsp pepper, divided
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup low-sodium chicken broth
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- 3 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Cook vegetables according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, sprinkle pork with ½ tsp each salt and pepper. Cook pork in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until browned.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add broth, cream, turmeric, garlic powder, paprika, and ¼ tsp each salt and pepper; cook 6 minutes or until sauce is thickened and pork is done. Sprinkle with cilantro, if desired.
