Herby Whipped Feta Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 lemon
- ½ (16-oz) pkg tagliatelle pasta
- 2 tsp olive oil, divided
- ½ (8-oz) block feta cheese, at room temperature
- ¼ cup whipped cream cheese
- 2 cloves garlic
- ½ (0.5-oz) pkg fresh basil, divided
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh oregano
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes (preferably multicolored), halved
- 1 Tbsp balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Grate 1 tsp zest and squeeze ½ Tbsp juice from lemon. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and toss with 1 tsp oil.
- Meanwhile, process feta, cream cheese, 1 tsp oil, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, half of basil, oregano, salt, and pepper in a food processor until smooth, scraping sides as needed.
- Serve whipped feta over pasta; top with tomatoes, and drizzle with glaze.
