Ingredients

  • 1½ lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 4 Tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup garlic-herb spreadable cheese

Instructions

  1. Season steak with salt and pepper, if desired. Cook, in two batches, in 1 Tbsp hot oil per batch in a 10- to 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes per side until well browned. Remove from skillet; keep warm.
  2. Cook mushrooms in 2 Tbsp hot oil over medium-high heat 6 minutes or until almost tender, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Add cream and cheese. Cook 2 minutes, stirring until cheese melts.
  3. Add steak to mushroom sauce. Cook 1 to 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (32-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp butter, divided
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg frozen broccoli florets
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook mashed potatoes according to package directions. Stir in 1 Tbsp butter. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
  2. Steam broccoli according to package directions; toss with 1 Tbsp butter and, if desired, salt and pepper. Sprinkle with cheese.
