Asian Barbecue Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken wings
  • 1 cup honey barbecue sauce
  • 2 tsp to 1 Tbsp Sriracha hot sauce (or other hot sauce)
  • 1 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in a lightly greased 3- to 4-quart slow cooker.
  2. Whisk together barbecue sauce, Sriracha, soy sauce, and garlic; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours or until wings are done.
  3. Sprinkle with green onions.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • ½ (3-oz) pkg chicken-flavored ramen noodles
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • ⅛ tsp crushed red pepper
  • ½ (16-oz) pkg coleslaw mix

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toast nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat 3 minutes or until golden.
  2. Crush ramen noodles while still in the bag.
  3. Whisk together oil, vinegar, sugar, red pepper flakes, and half of the seasoning packet from ramen noodles in a medium bowl. Reserve remaining half of ramen noodles and seasoning packet for another meal. Add coleslaw mix, nuts, and ramen noodles; toss.
  4. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
