Asian Barbecue Chicken Wings
Ramen Noodle SlawIngredients
- 2 lb chicken wings
- 1 cup honey barbecue sauce
- 2 tsp to 1 Tbsp Sriracha hot sauce (or other hot sauce)
- 1 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Place chicken in a lightly greased 3- to 4-quart slow cooker.
- Whisk together barbecue sauce, Sriracha, soy sauce, and garlic; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours or until wings are done.
- Sprinkle with green onions.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ¼ cup sliced almonds
- ½ (3-oz) pkg chicken-flavored ramen noodles
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp white vinegar
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- ⅛ tsp crushed red pepper
- ½ (16-oz) pkg coleslaw mix
Side Dish Instructions
- Toast nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat 3 minutes or until golden.
- Crush ramen noodles while still in the bag.
- Whisk together oil, vinegar, sugar, red pepper flakes, and half of the seasoning packet from ramen noodles in a medium bowl. Reserve remaining half of ramen noodles and seasoning packet for another meal. Add coleslaw mix, nuts, and ramen noodles; toss.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
