Ingredients

  • ¾ lb flank steak
  • ½ tsp ground chipotle chile pepper
  • ½ tsp salt, divided
  • 1 mango, peeled and chopped
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped red onion
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • ½ Tbsp olive oil
  • 6 corn tortillas, heated
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Lime wedges (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat; sprinkle steak with chile pepper and ¼ tsp salt.
  2. Grill steak 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness; let stand 10 minutes before thinly slicing across the grain.
  3. Meanwhile, stir together mango, onion, cilantro, lime juice, oil, and ¼ tsp salt.
  4. Divide steak and mango salsa among tortillas; top with avocado. Serve with lime wedges, if desired.
