Easy Peanut Butter-Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients

  • 2 (18-oz) boxes brownie mix (see Note)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅔ cup vegetable oil
  • ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 (12-oz) pkg semisweet chocolate morsels
  • ¾ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare both brownie mixes together according to package directions using eggs and vegetable oil; pour into a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch pan.
  2. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until center is set. Cool 30 minutes.
  3. Spread peanut butter over warm brownies; cool completely.
  4. Place chocolate morsels in a large bowl. Heat cream in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbles begin to form around edges; pour hot cream over chocolate morsels. Stir until chocolate is melted and smooth.
  5. Spread chocolate mixture over peanut butter-topped brownies. Let stand until chocolate is firm before cutting into squares.
