Meatball Baked Ziti
Chopped Italian Salad
Ingredients
- ½ lb ground beef
- 3 Tbsp panko breadcrumbs
- ½ tsp garlic salt
- 1 egg yolk, lightly beaten
- 1 cup ziti
- ½ (24-oz) jar pasta sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400ºF. Combine beef, breadcrumbs, garlic salt, and egg yolk in a bowl. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Place meatballs on a lightly greased rack on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, and place in a bowl. Sir in pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, and meatballs. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 8-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
