Meatball Baked Ziti

Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 3 Tbsp panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
  • 1 egg yolk, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup ziti
  • ½ (24-oz) jar pasta sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF. Combine beef, breadcrumbs, garlic salt, and egg yolk in a bowl. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Place meatballs on a lightly greased rack on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, and place in a bowl. Sir in pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, and meatballs. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 8-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
  3. Bake 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
