Brown Sugar-Bacon Waffles

- 1 cup fat-free buttermilk
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels.
- Meanwhile, preheat waffle maker according to manufacturer's instructions. Whisk together pancake mix, sugar, cinnamon, and buttermilk in a large bowl.
- Spoon waffle batter in ¼ cupfuls into waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions. Cook until browned and crisp. Serve waffles topped with bacon and syrup.
