Smoky Barbecue Ribs
Parsley Potato Salad and Steamed Green BeansIngredients
- 2 Tbsp smoked paprika (or use regular)
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 lb boneless country-style pork ribs, trimmed
- 1 cup gluten-free barbecue sauce
- 1 (12-oz) can gluten-free beer (or use gluten-free chicken broth)
Instructions
- Combine paprika, garlic powder, pepper, and salt; rub mixture over ribs. Place ribs in a greased 5- to 7-quart slow cooker.
- Stir together barbecue sauce and beer; pour over ribs.
- Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 9 hours or until ribs are tender.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 lb Yukon Gold potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
- ½ cup chopped fresh parsley
- ½ cup sour cream
- 3 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp salt, divided
- ½ tsp pepper, divided
- 2 (8-oz) pkg thin green beans
Side Dish Instructions
- Bring potatoes and water to cover to a boil in a large saucepan; cook 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Drain.
- Toss together potatoes, parsley, sour cream, mustard, and ¼ tsp each salt and pepper.
- Steam green beans according to package directions; sprinkle with ¼ tsp each salt and pepper.
