Strawberry-Basil Collins

Ingredients
- 2 strawberries, sliced
- 3 basil leaves, torn
- ½ Tbsp simple syrup
- 3 Tbsp gin
- ½ Tbsp lemon juice
- ½ cup club soda
- Garnish: strawberry
Instructions
- Add strawberry slices, basil, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker, and gently muddle. Top with gin, lemon juice, and ½ cup ice cubes. Stir vigorously until very cold, about 10 to 20 seconds.
- Strain into a Collins glass filled one-third full with ice cubes. Top with club soda. Garnish, if desired. Makes 1 serving.
