Crispy Pastrami Burgers

Ingredients
- 1 (7-oz) pkg ultra thin pastrami
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1½ Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- ½ (16-oz) bottle Thousand Island dressing
- 6 sesame seed buns
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded lettuce
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
Instructions
- Cook pastrami, in batches, in 1½ Tbsp butter per batch in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crispy.
- Mix beef and seasoning. Shape into 6 patties.
- Grill patties or cook in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Top with cheese.
- Spread dressing on cut sides of buns. Serve burgers on buns with lettuce, tomato, and crispy pastrami.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (26-oz) pkg frozen extra crispy French fries
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
- Ketchup (optional)
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake fries according to package directions; sprinkle with rosemary. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper while hot, if desired. Serve with ketchup, if desired.
