Ingredients
- ½ (7-oz) pkg ultra thin pastrami
- 1½ Tbsp butter
- ¾ lb ground beef
- ½ Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 2 slices Swiss cheese
- ¼ cup Thousand Island dressing
- 2 sesame seed buns
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 small tomato, sliced
Instructions
- Cook pastrami in butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crispy.
- Mix beef and seasoning. Shape into 2 patties. Grill patties or cook in large skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes per side or until no longer pink. Top with cheese.
- Spread dressing on cut sides of buns. Serve burgers on buns with lettuce, tomato, and crispy pastrami.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ½ (26-oz) pkg frozen extra crispy French fries
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
- Ketchup (optional)
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake fries according to package directions; sprinkle with rosemary. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper while hot, if desired. Serve with ketchup, if desired.
