Strawberry-Kiwi Slush

Ingredients

  • 2 kiwifruit, peeled and chopped (about ½ cup)
  • 1 cup ice cubes, divided
  • ½ cup Reisling, divided
  • 2 Tbsp simple syrup, divided
  • ½ cup frozen whole strawberries
  • Garnish: kiwifruit slices

Instructions

  1. Place chopped kiwifruit on a small pan; freeze 2 to 4 hours or until firm.
  2. Process frozen kiwi, ½ cup ice, ¼ cup wine, and 1 Tbsp simple syrup in a blender until smooth. Divide kiwi mixture between 2 old fashioned glasses.
  3. Rinse blender and lid with cold water.
  4. Process strawberries, ½ cup ice, ¼ cup wine, and 1 Tbsp simple syrup in blender until smooth. Pour strawberry mixture over kiwi mixture in glasses. Garnish, if desired.
