Alphabet Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 6 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1½ cups alphabet-shaped pasta
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large Dutch oven over medium heat. Add carrots and celery; cook 5 minutes or until tender.
- Add chicken, broth, seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 25 minutes or until chicken is done. Remove chicken from broth, and shred with 2 forks.
- Add pasta to broth with shredded chicken; cook 8 to 10 minutes or until pasta is done.

- 1 (6-count) pkg frozen buttermilk biscuits
- 1 (16.5-oz) jar apple butter
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake biscuits according to package directions. Serve with apple butter.
