Grilled Chicken with White Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2½ lb bone-in, skin-on chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove skin from chicken. Rub chicken with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Grill chicken, covered, 7 to 8 minutes per side or until chicken is done. Cool slightly, and cut chicken into serving-size pieces.
  3. Meanwhile, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon juice, and cayenne pepper; serve with chicken.

  • 1½ lb large sweet potatoes, ends trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp lemon zest
  • ½ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Microwave potatoes at HIGH 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp-tender. Transfer to a cutting board, and let stand until cool enough to handle, about 15 minutes.
  2. Cut potatoes lengthwise into 16 wedges. Transfer to a rimmed baking sheet. Toss with oil, garlic salt, lemon zest, and pepper.
  3. Grill, covered, 3 minutes per side or until potatoes are charred and tender.
