Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground sweet Italian sausage
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (5-oz) pkg spinach
  • 1 (15-oz) pkg already rolled out bakery pizza dough
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg whole milk mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 (0.5-oz) pkg fresh oregano, stems removed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Cook sausage, bell pepper, onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until sausage is browned and crumbly. Gradually add spinach, stirring until wilted.
  2. Meanwhile, roll out dough into a 20-inch round on a lightly floured surface. Cut dough into 3-inch rounds and place on lightly greased baking sheets.
  3. Divide sausage mixture and cheese among dough rounds. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and crusts are golden brown. Sprinkle with oregano.
