Oatmeal Creme Pies

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ¼ cup shortening
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 (14-oz) pkg oatmeal cookies

Instructions

  1. Beat butter and shortening with an electric mixer fitted with whisk attachment or using a hand mixer on high 1 minute or until light and fluffy.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until smooth. Add cream and vanilla. For each sandwich cookie, spread 1½ Tbsp prepared creme filling between 2 cookies.
