Turkey-Avocado Club Sandwiches
Citrus SlawIngredients
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 8 (1-oz) slices whole grain bread
- ½ lb deli sliced low sodium turkey breast
- 4 slices center cut bacon, cooked
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 4 green leaf lettuce leaves, halved crosswise
Instructions
- Combine avocado and lemon juice; spread on 4 bread slices; layer with turkey, bacon, tomato, lettuce leaves, and remaining bread slices. Cut sandwiches in half to serve, if desired.

- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ (16-oz) pkg tricolor coleslaw
- 1 large navel orange, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 3 green onions, sliced
Side Dish Instructions
- Whisk together oil, honey, lemon zest, juice, and salt in a large bowl. Add slaw, orange, and onions; toss.
