Meat Lover's Pizza Soup
Easy BreadsticksIngredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg ground Italian sausage
- 1 (3.5-oz) pkg pepperoni, chopped
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1 (32-oz) carton less sodium chicken broth
- 1 (24-oz) jar marinara sauce
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Cook sausage and pepperoni in a large Dutch oven over medium heat until sausage is browned and crumbly; drain well, and return to pot.
- Stir in tomato paste; cook, stirring, 2 minutes. Add broth, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in cheese just before serving.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (11-oz) can refrigerated thin-crust pizza dough
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Unroll dough onto a lightly greased large baking sheet. Brush dough with oil and sprinkle with oregano.
- Cut dough in half crosswise. Cut each half of dough lengthwise into strips. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
