Buttercream Frosting and Candies

Ingredients
- 2 cups butter, softened
- 9 cups powdered sugar
- ⅓ cup whole milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ (1-oz) bottle red food coloring
- ½ (1-oz) bottle green food coloring
- 1 (2.5-oz) bottle Christmas jimmies and sprinkles
- 1 (3.5-oz) bottle green sanding sugar
- 1 (3.5-oz) bottle red sanding sugar
- 1 (10-oz) bag Christmas candy-coated milk chocolate pieces
- 1 (10-oz) bag peppermint starlight mints hard candy
- 1 (24-oz) pkg holiday spice drops jellies
Instructions
- Beat butter in a large bowl with a mixer at medium speed until fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until blended. Beat in milk and vanilla until mixture is smooth.
- Divide buttercream among 3 bowls. Add desired amount of food coloring to 2 bowls, stirring until blended.
- Place sugars, sprinkles, and candies in small bowls.
