Decadent Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 (4-oz) bars semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup unsweetened baking cocoa 
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 (10-oz) pkg miniature marshmallows
  • 1 (5.3-oz) box peppermint candy canes

Instructions

  1. Combine milk, cream, chopped chocolate, sugar, cocoa, and vanilla in a large Dutch oven. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring often, 15 to 20 minutes or until blended.
  2. Ladle hot chocolate into mugs. Serve immediately with marshmallows and candy canes.
