Ingredients

  • 1 (15-oz) pkg already rolled out bakery pizza dough
  • 1 (8-oz) block whole milk mozzarella cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 (5-oz) pkg mini pepperoni, divided
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 3 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh oregano
  • 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (24-oz) jar marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Cut dough into 2-inch squares. Wrap dough around 1 cheese cube and 4 mini pepperoni. Place filled dough balls in a Christmas tree shape on a lightly greased large rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Brush dough with beaten egg. Sprinkle with remaining pepperoni. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Meanwhile, stir together melted butter, parsley, basil, and oregano. Brush over hot rolls. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
  4. Warm marinara sauce, if desired. Serve with rolls for dipping.
