Ingredients
- 1 (15-oz) pkg already rolled out bakery pizza dough
- 1 (8-oz) block whole milk mozzarella cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 (5-oz) pkg mini pepperoni, divided
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 3 Tbsp butter, melted
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh oregano
- 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 (24-oz) jar marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Cut dough into 2-inch squares. Wrap dough around 1 cheese cube and 4 mini pepperoni. Place filled dough balls in a Christmas tree shape on a lightly greased large rimmed baking sheet.
- Brush dough with beaten egg. Sprinkle with remaining pepperoni. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, stir together melted butter, parsley, basil, and oregano. Brush over hot rolls. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Warm marinara sauce, if desired. Serve with rolls for dipping.
