Cheesy Pizza Casserole

Ingredients

  • ½ (16-oz) pkg rotini pasta
  • ¾ lb ground beef
  • 1 (24-oz) jar marinara sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ (3.5-oz) pkg pepperoni
  • 2 Tbsp fresh oregano leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, cook beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet. Stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, and cooked pasta.
  3. Spread half of meat mixture in a lightly greased 1½-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with half of cheese and half of pepperoni. Repeat layers.
  4. Bake 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer or until pepperoni are crisp. Sprinkle with oregano.

  • ½ head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • ½ cup shredded carrots
  • ¼ cup Italian dressing

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toss together all ingredients just before serving.
