Ingredients

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg orecchiette pasta
  • 1 (20-oz or 1-lb) pkg mild Italian ground pork sausage
  • 2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • ¾ cup whipping cream
  • 1 (5-oz) pkg baby spinach
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup thinly sliced sun-dried tomatoes in oil
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Meanwhile, cook sausage in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 10 to 12 minutes or until browned and crumbly. Drain; return to skillet. Add garlic; cook 1 minute.
  3. Add whipping cream and pasta water; simmer 4 minutes or until thickened.
  4. Toss hot cooked pasta, sausage and cream, spinach, Parmesan, and sun-dried tomatoes in pasta pot.
  5. Gradually stir in mozzarella. Season with pepper, if desired.
