Lemony Chicken and Peas
Hot Cooked PastaIngredients
- 2 lemons, thinly sliced
- 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 sweet onion, sliced
- 1 (16-oz) pkg frozen green peas
- 1 (10.5-oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup less sodium chicken broth
- ½ cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Place lemon slices in a single layer on bottom of 5- to 7-quart slow cooker. Top with chicken, onion, and peas.
- Spread soup and broth over peas. Layer remaining lemon slices over soup.
- Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours.
- Stir in cream; cook 10 minutes or until heated through. Remove and discard lemon slices. Serve over pasta.
