Hawaiian-Style Pork Chops
Steamed Rice and Roasted Broccoli
Ingredients
- 2 (8-oz) boneless pork chops
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 (8-oz) can crushed pineapple
- 3 Tbsp ketchup
- 1½ Tbsp brown sugar
- ½ Tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- Season pork with salt and pepper, if desired. Cook pork in hot oil in a skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes per side or until browned; remove from skillet.
- Add pineapple, ketchup, brown sugar, and soy sauce to skillet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
- Nestle pork chops in mixture; simmer 10 minutes or until pork is tender.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 (8.8-oz) pouch microwavable jasmine rice
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss together broccoli and oil on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes or until browned and tender; season with salt and pepper, if desired.
- Heat rice according to package directions.
