Hawaiian-Style Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 2 (8-oz) boneless pork chops
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (8-oz) can crushed pineapple
  • 3 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1½ Tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ Tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Season pork with salt and pepper, if desired. Cook pork in hot oil in a skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes per side or until browned; remove from skillet.
  2. Add pineapple, ketchup, brown sugar, and soy sauce to skillet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Nestle pork chops in mixture; simmer 10 minutes or until pork is tender.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 (8.8-oz) pouch microwavable jasmine rice

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss together broccoli and oil on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes or until browned and tender; season with salt and pepper, if desired.
  2. Heat rice according to package directions.
