Parmesan Butter Steak

Baked Sweet Potatoes and Green Beans

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb top sirloin steak, trimmed 
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp butter, softened
  • ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Season steak with salt and pepper, if desired.
  2. Cook steak in hot oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
  3. Meanwhile, combine butter and cheese, stirring until blended. Dollop butter over steak slices.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 2 small sweet potatoes 
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg thin green beans

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Place potatoes on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake 40 minutes or until tender.
  2. Cut a lengthwise slit on top of each potato; top each with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Steam green beans according to package directions. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
