Spicy Beef and Pepper Stir-fry
Buttered BroccoliIngredients
- 2 lb flank steak, thinly sliced across the grain
- 2 Tbsp dark sesame oil
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 8 green onions, thinly sliced
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup less sodium soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp fish sauce
- 2 Tbsp Sriracha hot sauce
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Cook beef in hot oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat 3 minutes or until browned. Remove beef from pan; keep warm.
- Add bell peppers and onions to pan; cook 6 minutes or until tender, stirring often.
- Whisk together water, soy sauce, fish sauce, Sriracha, and cornstarch in a small bowl.
- Add beef and soy sauce mixture to pan; bring to a boil, and cook 1 to 2 minutes or until sauce is thickened.

- 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen broccoli florets
- 2 Tbsp butter
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook broccoli according to package directions. Toss with butter, salt, and pepper.
