Smoky Tomato Short Ribs
Sautéed Greens
Ingredients
- 1¼ lb bone-in beef short ribs
- ½ Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1 cup beef broth
- ⅓ cup sliced sweet onion
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 (14.5-oz) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes
Instructions
- Sprinkle ribs with seasoning; place ribs, broth, onion, garlic, and tomatoes in a 3- or 4-quart slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours or until ribs are tender.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ½ (16-oz) pkg chopped mustard greens
- 1 12 Tbsp olive oil
- ¼ Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook greens in boiling water in a large saucepan 3 to 5 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain well.
- Cook greens in hot oil in a large skillet over medium heat 3 minutes. Stir in vinegar, salt, and pepper.
