Cinnamon-Sugar French Toast

Ingredients

  • 5 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2½ cups crushed cinnamon crunch cereal
  • 12 slices brioche
  • ¼ cup butter, divided
  • ½ (24-oz) bottle pancake syrup
  • 1 (16-oz) container strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
  2. Place crushed cereal in a separate shallow dish. Dip each bread slice in egg mixture, letting excess drip off; dredge in crushed cereal, pressing gently to adhere.
  3. Melt 1 Tbsp butter in a large nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add 3 coated bread slices, and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side or until browned. Remove from skillet, and keep warm.
  4. Repeat procedure with remaining butter and coated bread slices. Serve with syrup and sliced strawberries.
