Sausage and Tortellini Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) pkg ground mild Italian sausage
  • 1 (18-oz) pkg refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 1 (24-oz) jar pasta sauce
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can less sodium chicken broth
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 (5-oz) container shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage in a large, deep skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain, if needed, and return to skillet.
  2. Add tortellini, pasta sauce, broth, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 5 to 6 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  3. Sprinkle with cheese.

  • 1 (10-oz) pkg Italian style salad mix
  • 1 (5-oz) pkg seasoned croutons
  • ½ cup balsamic vinaigrette

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toss together all ingredients in a large bowl just before serving.
