Brown Sugar Chicken
Buttered Green Beans and Mashed PotatoesIngredients
- ¾ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, halved crosswise
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 Tbsp packed brown sugar
- ½ (0.7-oz) envelope Italian dressing mix
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Pound chicken to an even thickness in a zip-top plastic bag using the heel of your hand or a meat mallet.
- Cook chicken in hot oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes per side or until browned. Transfer to a parchment paper-lined rimmed baking sheet.
- Meanwhile, stir together brown sugar and dressing mix. Sprinkle over chicken. Bake 12 minutes or until chicken is done.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (8-oz) pkg thin green beans
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 (24-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
Side Dish Instructions
- Steam beans according to package directions; toss with butter until melted. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
- Heat potatoes according to package directions.
