Avocado Margherita Pizza
Italian Radish and Mixed Greens Salad
Ingredients
- ¼ cup canned crushed tomatoes
- ½ Tbsp plus 1 tsp olive oil, divided
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
- ½ (1-lb) ball bakery pizza dough
- ½ (8-oz) ball fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- ¼ cup chopped fresh basil, divided
- ⅛ tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 small avocado, sliced
- ½ Tbsp balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Combine tomatoes, 1 tsp oil, garlic, and pepper in a bowl.
- Roll out dough into a 10-inch round on a greased baking sheet; prick all over with a fork, and brush with ½ Tbsp oil. Bake 8 minutes.
- Spread tomato sauce over partially-baked crust. Top with cheese, 2 Tbsp basil, and red pepper.
- Bake 10 to 15 minutes longer or until crust is golden. Top pizza with avocado and 2 Tbsp basil; drizzle with balsamic glaze.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ½ (5-oz) pkg spring mix
- ⅓ cup thinly sliced red onion
- 3 radishes, thinly sliced
- 3 Tbsp olive oil vinaigrette
- 3 Tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
Side Dish Instructions
- Toss together all ingredients in a large bowl.
