Cheesy Taco Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg medium shells pasta
- 1½ lb ground beef
- 1 (14-oz) container refrigerated pico de gallo
- 1 (1-oz) envelope less sodium taco seasoning mix
- 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
- Meanwhile, cook beef in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly. Drain and return to skillet.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add reserved pasta water, pico de gallo, and seasoning mix; cook 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Stir in hot pasta and cheese until blended.
