Classic Baked Ziti

Roasted Green Beans with Garlic

Ingredients

  • 6 oz ziti pasta
  • ½ (24-oz) jar marinara sauce, divided
  • ½ (15-oz) carton whole milk ricotta cheese
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ⅛ tsp salt 
  • Dash of cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Stir together cooked pasta, 1 cup marinara sauce, ricotta, Parmesan, garlic, seasoning, onion powder, salt, and cayenne.
  3. Spread in a 9-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Top with remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella.
  4. Bake 30 minutes or until bubbly and browned.

  • ½ lb green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss together all ingredients on a rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer.
  2. Bake 13 to 15 minutes until green beans are browned and tender, stirring after 6 minutes.
