Kentucky Beer Cheese and Bacon Dip
Ingredients
- 10 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 (8-oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8-oz.) block extra sharp yellow Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 (8-oz) block Havarti cheese, shredded
- ½ cup IPA style beer
- 2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
- 2 Tbsp whole grain mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 seedless cucumber, sliced
- 4 stalks celery, cut into sticks
- 1 (7.2-oz) bag pretzel thins
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels.
- Meanwhile, beat cream cheese and shredded cheeses in a large bowl with a mixer at medium speed until blended. Beat in beer, chives, mustard, garlic powder, and cayenne until blended. Stir in crispy bacon. Cover, and refrigerate at least 4 hours.
- Serve cheese mixture with cucumber slices, celery sticks, and pretzels.
