Tuscan Sausage Naan Pizzas
Two-Tomato Avocado Salad
Ingredients
- 1 (8.8-oz) pkg whole grain naan
- ½ (16-oz) pkg ground mild Italian turkey sausage
- 1½ tsp minced garlic
- ½ Tbsp olive oil
- 1 (5-oz) pkg baby spinach
- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- ½ (8-oz) ball fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- ⅛ tsp freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Bake naan on a foil-lined large baking sheet 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Meanwhile, cook sausage and garlic in hot oil in a skillet over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until sausage is browned and crumbly. Gradually add spinach; cook until wilted. Stir in vinegar.
- Spoon sausage mixture over naan; top with cheese.
- Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned and cheese is melted; sprinkle with pepper. Cut into wedges.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ½ pint cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 large tomatoes, cut into chunks
- 1 avocado, chopped
- ½ (0.5-oz) pkg fresh basil, torn
- ½ Tbsp balsamic vinegar
Side Dish Instructions
- Toss together all ingredients in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
