Green Tea-Lemonade Slush
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 2 green tea bags
- 1 cup lemon juice
- ½ cup simple syrup
- ½ cup cold water
- ½ cup club soda
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat; add tea bags. Cover and steep 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags, and transfer tea to a heatproof container. Chill 4 hours.
- Combine juice and simple syrup in a pitcher, stirring until dissolved. Stir in cold water. Lemonade makes 2 cups.
- Pour lemonade into ice cube trays (mixture will fill about 2 trays). Freeze 6 hours or overnight.
- Process half of green tea and half of lemonade ice cubes in a blender until smooth. Transfer to a pitcher. Repeat process with remaining tea and lemonade ice cubes. Stir in club soda. Pour into 6 glasses.
