Bacon Cheeseburger Sloppy Joes

Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 cup less sodium beef broth
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 (8-oz) block Cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
- 6 hamburger buns
- ½ cup sliced dill pickles
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes or until done. Remove from skillet; wipe skillet clean. Cut bacon in half.
- Cook beef and onion over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until browned crumbly. Drain, and return to skillet. Add garlic; cook 1 minute or until fragrant.
- Combine broth and cornstarch in a bowl. Add broth mixture, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and pepper. Reduce heat to medium, and cook 5 to 6 minutes or until thickened.
- Remove from heat; stir in 1 cup cheese until melted. Divide beef mixture among buns. Top with 1 cup cheese, bacon halves, and pickles.
