Creamy Tomato Tortellini Soup

Ingredients

  • 6 cups less sodium chicken broth
  • 1 (19-oz) pkg frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 (5-oz) pkg garlic and herb cheese
  • 1 (10.75-oz) can tomato soup
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until tortellini are tender.

  • 1 (8-oz) block Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ⅔ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 (2.5-oz) pouch real bacon pieces
  • ½ (14-oz) French bread, cut into ½ inch thick slices

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Stir together cheese, mayonnaise, and bacon; spread over cut sides of bread. Place spread side up on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until bread is golden and cheese is melted.
